@The Gospels were@not written@in English. This does not prove Mary had other biological sons. In Scripture, “brothers” can mean close kin, relatives, or covenant family, not only uterine brothers. That is especially true in a Jewish setting. And notice something else: if these were literally Mary’s other sons, why does Jesus entrust Mary to John at the cross in John 19:26–27 instead of to one of these alleged brothers? Mark 3 uses the word “brothers.” It does not prove “other sons of Mary.”
