@so are you saying that they made the choice (in your opinion) that let's just go for it and if we get a global sovereign debt crisis as a result .. so be it because everyone else is more screwed than we are ? vs. Israel is telling us we can get in and out fast (few weeks) and the rest will be done by the Iranian people ... and Israel is going to hit the leadership gathering anyway ... so we have to go in now or we will get hit first. whare you are basically saying is they lit the building on fire knowing it could all burn down and yet their own condo may just get smoke damage and a few rooms of burnt. After everything Bessent did with the Three Arrows and to stabilize US debt markets and try to figure out how to move issuance into Stables etc. ... all of it for nothing? Just to burn it all down on Iran war? This seems very odd vs. the idea that they were sold a bill of goods which didn't include prolonged strait closure and global contagion .. Trump himself says everything was 'good' market 50K ..we just needed to do a quick 'excursion' ...

Why is the name of a 23-year-old American activist written on an Iranian drone? And why are global navigation apps quietly scrubbing her name from the map of Tehran? Recent footage reveals an Iranian drone inscribed with: "For the revenge of Rachel Corrie." Who was she? A ace activist acting as a human shield in Rafah, Gaza (2003). Corrie stood directly in the path of a heavily armored Israeli military bulldozer to stop it from demolishing a Palestinian civilian's home. Despite being in clear sight, the bulldozer didn't halt—it advanced, intentionally driving over her and crushing her to death. Why her? Why put an American’s name on Iranian drone? Iran is framing its military moves not just as national defense, but as retribution for Western human rights icons. Iran wants to show that the path of resistance is for the freedom of all the oppressed, especially Palestine, (the first Qibla of Muslims.) For five decades, Iran has supported this cause in constant struggle with Israel's backers, enduring heavy sanctions. Highlighting such symbols serves as a reminder that anyone striving for the freedom of Palestine stands in the exact same frontline, and one day their blood will be avenged—whether they are an Iranian or an American, a Shia or a Christian. But the geopolitical battle extends to the apps on your phone. Tehran actually has a street named in Corrie's honor. Yet, if you search @GoogleMaps in English? Ghosted. You must type it in Persian. (Meanwhile, a street with her exact name in Ramallah shows up perfectly in English). It gets wilder on Waze (an Israeli-founded app). The Tehran street isn't deleted, but the English spelling is intentionally butchered, making it practically unsearchable. ✅ Correct: Rachel Corrie - ❌ Waze: "Rashl Kwry" Why this soft censorship? Because acknowledging this reality completely shatters the dark image Western and Israeli media have manufactured against Iran. For context: Tehran recently inaugurated a magnificent metro station named "Saint Mary" —something you won't even find in Israel. Yet, mainstream media strictly censors these facts so the Western public remains completely in the dark. Iran’s strategy with these inscriptions is clear: it acts as an alarm bell. They are sending awakening messages to open the eyes of the global public to Israel's boundless oppression and crimes in the region, aiming to break the media monopoly and rally worldwide solidarity. @Sometimesit boils down to admitting a loss, and you try to take in best case scenario which translates to minimal escalation and lost opportunities down the road. Either way you look at it, PH would have lost, with or without the west. Harsh reality is in, there is a global crisis. You have to take a side because, hard truth, the Philippines can’t stand on its own right now, sadly. PH is on the front pages of every news outlet and political social media commentary for the losing position in this global crisis. This is the CRUX, and the team you decide to choose will dictate your situation in the next decade. At this point, you drop bias, and let logic decide. Which team is winning? The East. Who is losing? The West. The Philippines has to let go the Hershey-Disney Land dreams. There is a new era awaiting, and the doors haven’t closed yet. Will you wait for it to get slammed on your face?

@PeterDClack Anthropogenic global warming is junk science, and it has been used to drive 'renewable' energy mechanisms without proper analysis of the negative effects. Still... proper research into varied energy sources in addition to hydrocarbons is needed as wars disrupt oil/gas supply.
