@elonmusk I am better at first principle thinking than you. Fite me
We are born to this life absent request. From the instant our existence begins, there is a constant that is seemingly ever present and simultaneously never ending. We witness this constant and plan for it. We observe this constant and give it definition. We base our choices in this constant judicially and make them. This constant, is change. We know change well. As stated, it is ever present in our lives and experiences. The question then becomes, how do we define change? What constitutes change? Where is the line?
That last question poses an interesting semantic; “Where is the line?” and upon first glance it is merely semantic. But we can also ask ourselves a physical form of this question. And when we ask ourselves the physical form of this question, what assumes and becomes the property of the question?
If there is a line, then there must be points along that line. If there are points along that line, are they all the original or are they separated, and would the change be defined separately along those points? It must be so. We find that there is separation between 0 and 1, 1 and 2, triangle and square, circle and dot.
What does this mean?
It means there is evidence that change is the inherent primitive of the universe.
Motion is more than movement, it is change.
