The closest to belittled I was, was constantly being asked why I didn't play more violent sports (fball, lax, hockey) instead of hoops & "communist kickball"

Having said all. What if fball/CAF came to lift the quality of our lives & society? Good roads, fully equipped/smoothly operating hospitals, quality playing areas 4 good fball/preventing player injuries, comfortable seats 4 fans, quality hotels etc. All these will stay in UG
With all these u keep asking yourself that did the contractors have the list of requirements/parameters before starting construction?

I think it’s time to retire #5 in Fball and Bball. Each sports best player ever wore that number. Retire it!
We won't get to see Darius Acuff play again in a Hog
uniform. His last game didn't live up to his lofty standards, but he still scored 28 points. What an incredible season. I would love to see 5 retired in both hoops and football. Let's salute two one-of-a-kind players with the ultimate honor.

@wilnerhotline Ya know Jon, having the highest combined fball and bball attendance of ANY team in the West, including UW, Oregon, USC, in 2025-2026 would be considered a success in most people’s minds. Tying for first place (twice) in Big 12 football has a nice feel to it. Weʼre patient.
