Attleeton hardly rolls off the tongue but great he's getting ecognition. I'd never heard the name until this year: symptomatic of a country that doesn't know it's roots. We're spoon-fed headlines about Churchill but don't know who spearheaded the gov. that developed our NHS.
🚨 NEW: The proposed names the Government is considering calling its new towns
- Elizabethtown (after the Queen)
- Pankhurst (after suffragette Emmeline)
- Attleeton (after ex-PM)
- Athelstan (first King of England)
- Seacole (after nurse Mary)
