@JameyBaskow He could come for the last two games … if he requests to burn the first year of his ELC… Danny better just nod his head and put the contract on the table!

@JameyBaskow From a long term POV, is it better to NOT burn a year off Martone’s ELC? I know we all want to see him play for the Flyers but is it worth it for such few games left? I’m also assuming the Flyers don’t make the playoffs given too many teams to jump.

@BOGBackup1 I mean, King hasn’t looked sharp the last two. Writenour had a rough one against bama but 2 good apps against Arkansas. LP is still good, ELC and sandefer is nasty. This staff is just Nasty despite the poor fielding

@Huddy1813068023 @MinorMidgetGTHL NIL will work for both. They player could make more than an ELC, leaving no pressure to sign an NHL contract, which presents good and also bad for NHL club. The number of 18 yo college players may change as well, with kids able to play both now

@Huddy1813068023 @Ralphie9 NIL$ isn’t going to be big for hockey players. Not enough for them to stay in school instead of leaving to play pro. For hockey the goal is to start the clock on ELC as soon as possible. Want to get to 2nd deal and UFA status as early as possible.

@mathewjdp Even worse. A 28 yr old is what he is. A 21 yr old could still go either way. Don't tell me they should pay him now so they don't pay him more later. We're not talking about Celebrini here. If they could draft they could plug an ELC in to play with McDavid.
