Today apparently the #U.S. Mission to the UN @USUN wants to talk about why the US and only 2 other countries voted No on the March 25 UN slavery resolution But as a African American I am not sure what is there to talk about 🤡 The US has played their hand time and time again: In May 1985, the city's police department dropped an improvised bomb on a residential home that housed the Black revolutionary organization MOVE Apartheid South Africa between 1985 and 1990 the US began divestments with boycotting pressure from Americans boycotts Nelson Mandela and other members of the African National Congress (ANC) remained on U.S. terror watch lists until July 2008 And the list goes on and on the US has a history of NOT recognizing the human rights of Black people
