If you are looking to attract more pollinating insects into your garden, (and you should) opt for wildflowers, and the traditional cottage garden plants. If you don't have a lot of room, make the most of pots and create some wonderful displays.
If going to a garden centre, look out for the plants which are drawing the bees to them. Those are the ones you need. Avoid the fave bedding plants - busy lizzies etc. They won't help pollinators.
