It may be a bit late (i.e., for the current conflict) to build cheaper drone interceptors at this point.

@HansMahncke You can’t do mine clearance and escort duty whilst countering dozens of drones and missiles at the same time - no navy (inc USN) can do it, the ships don’t carry enough countermeasures to sustain that type of situation. It was obvious Iran would be ready for this scenario.
