@AntiWokeMemes We literally fought our own country to end slavery and lost thousands of white Americans to free your ancestors. We were the first to do so, there's literally still slaves in other countries. Stupid shit ever.

@Joe - Bill Raftery is like a fine wine. I think he's been amazing at 82. I'm tired of people discussing age. My heroes growing up in L.A. were Scully, Hearn, and Bob Miller - never missed a beat. Look at Hubie Brown went into his 90's. Al Michaels is amazing, @dickiev is e@nthusiastic and on social media. Gary Danielson was an icon who just retired. @VerneLundquist just retired in 2024 from golf - iconic! And as a @brewers fan - we lost one of the goats, Bob Uecker, who went until he couldn't at 90.

Every time my gamer friends talk about the Nintendo Switch, I make the joke that "I could use a switch, too." And they tell me 'get one, it's like $500.' Which is funny because that's about what they cost.

@One persp@ective: The 30.@5 GW strengthens energy security as reliable baseload backup for variable renewables and hydro, preventing shortages like 2021-2022 amid surging demand from factories, AI/data centers, and economic growth—while new plants can be retrofitted for flexibility. Another perspective: It creates overcapacity with coal utilization declining as renewables meet all new demand growth, risks locking in emissions that challenge climate targets, and may lead to stranded assets by slowing the shift to cleaner grid integration.
