@If it's just about desire, the solution is simple (not easy, simple) you either value your comfort, your time or some other thing more than connections with people I wish the same thing you do but we have to admit that we simply aren't wishing hard enough if it's more comfortable to ignore the wish than act on it.

@No system @is perfect.Freedom of speech can lead to extreme ideas widening the "good" idea gap, weakened government control, and a lack of ideas for change. To the contrary, separating government involvement in the economy is the untried yet only steady-state solution. The separation of economy and state as the material corollary to the spiritual separation of church and state, with government focusing on fraud and other economic crime, will maximize economic opportunity for all citizens.

"Dark Skies Laws." I had never heard of this before @MazeLove14 brought it to X's attention. This is not a solution. This is a "prediction" of the disaster coming as our grid fails. My takeaway is that every homeowner is on their own and will have to have a Natural Gas, Whole House generator as a survival tool along with Starlink, as internet service providers collapse. Plan ahead.

Wow! I just checked to see what other states have this or similar “Dark Skies Protection” legislation passed and/or introduced. Here is what I found: States with statewide dark sky laws: Arizona Arkansas California Colorado Connecticut Hawaii Maine Minnesota Missouri New Hampshire New Mexico New York Oklahoma Rhode Island Texas Vermont Virginia Wyoming States introducing new or stricter laws now: Hawaii Illinois Massachusetts New York New Jersey Pennsylvania Michigan Virginia Maine

For those desiring to see Thune removed as Majority Leader you are not appreciating one overriding fact: He's the Senator for North --- ehhh South -- Dakota, not MAGA. As Majority Leader, he is the leader of the Senate GOP Caucus, not MAGA. The GOP Caucus elected him 29-23. The runner-up was John Cornyn. Does that make you any happier? Rick Scott was in the first round of voting and got only 13 of 53 votes -- 40 GOP Senators wanted someone else. Thune was elected by the caucus and it is only the caucus that is going to get rid of him -- not MAGA. Much like the complaints against Susan Collins -- if you have an alternative Majority Leader who can get 27 votes from his/her colleagues, then name him/her. But saying nothing more than "Thune Must Go" without answer "Who replaces him" is just performative gripping with no meaningful alternative.

If we built one to 🇺🇸 now, it would lock in that structural discount for decades. Pipe to Asia-Pacific is the solution.
