This is great news for the farm industry!
No more being held hostage by equipment manufacturers who made it impossible for farmers to any longer fix their own equipment. In stead they would lose time waiting for a repair, which could result in a crop not being harvested in time, and then the cost of repair.
For those who may not be aware, the Right to Repair is a big deal for farmers.
The farm equipment industry had adopted a model to maximize profits by preventing farmers from repairing their own equipment or using independent shops. This effectively forced them to use only the more official dealerships for more expensive repairs and parts.
