Materials science being useful in mechanical and civil like structural engineering I guess makes me think of chemistry and chemical engineering and just like a lot of matter is related to chemistry even if it’s not exactly the same I guess

How train change their track?
This close-up footage reveals one of the most satisfying engineering moments most people never get to see — the exact instant a train wheel passes through a railroad switch and smoothly changes onto a different track without stopping.

@Israa_Alfass My alarm bells been ringing loudly:
- $38T debt, $60T liabilities, $6T assets
- Ponzi scheme economy
- very little full supply chain industrial engineering
- productivity off the backs of labor not automation
- 40%+ of Americans taking cash out from HELOC
- rampant corruption
@magamuss @OpenSourceZone True. SLIGHTLY more Republicans go into engineering than Democrats.
I’m not sure why you started talking about money, but doctors and lawyers make more money than engineers.
YOU said Democrats are uneducated, and everyone else on this planet says that is simply not true.

I probably won’t discuss the civil and mechanical as much as chemical or computer engineering applications I guess comes to mind to some extent

Infrastructure is just step one.
@konnex_world
is engineering complete autonomous work markets by replacing human bottlenecks with decentralized accountability. #konnex_world #KonnexWorld

But I guess the business and engineering applications are useful for making this stuff a little more interesting I guess comes to mind to some extent

@oiler3535 @MickWest From what I’ve read I don’t think they are ET specifically. I favor a hypothesis that they are advanced human civilizations that have mastered spacetime metric engineering, as it is the only way the observed characteristics are possible in General Relativity, but don’t know.

Trump inspires… ridicule, mostly.
But he is also engineering the final downfall of Anglo-American imperialism.
Victory to Iran!

These physics and engineering applications can get a little subjective in some cases actually I guess is the impression I get like engineering is kind of related to design and there’s some creativity there I guess is the impression I get

@we, $KAS$KAS "clowns" just do not think $BTC is a world class solution for anyone who believes scaling (where system performance stays constant regardless of the number of users) is not a myth and that 7 transactions per second could be considered "the peak of human engineering". p.s. The de

The construction project took 579 years
1386 to 1965.
With modern technology and engineering, we can do it in 30 years.
Today’s world is purely profit-driven. We no longer value timeless wonders; we only chase quick returns.
No company, government, or group would ever build something like this again, because it simply wouldn’t make money or turn in profit.
Why did humans stop building wonders?
This is a prompt engineering problem more than an AI problem.
If the AI is writing code that takes 3 hours to debug, the context you gave it was not specific enough and you did not review the output before running it.
The developers getting value from AI are the ones who treat it like a fast junior who needs clear instructions and code review. Not a magic box that removes the need to think.
AI writes your code in 30 seconds.
You spend 3 hours debugging what it wrote.
You could have written it yourself
in 45 minutes.
But that would require thinking
and we don't do that anymore apparently.
@glassysquirrel I jerk it to engineering books because I’m on the spectrum
