@Outrage karne se pehle rules padh lijiye. This is simply a drive to clear Backlog Vacancies (unfilled seats from past recruitment cycles). DoPT guidelines ke hisaab se, backlog vacancies ko fill karne ke liye 50% cap apply nahi hota kyunki wo pichle saalo ka quota hota hai. There is absolutely nothing 'shocking' here, just standard procedure.

When reserved seats go unfilled in previous recruitment cycles due to a lack of suitable candidates, they are carried forward. According to DoPT rules, the 50% ceiling does not apply to special drives meant to fill these specific carried-forward seats. Do some basic research before outraging.
