Tough for Iowa State to go out like this getting killed in the paint without Joshua Jefferson. You had to figure it was gonna happen next round against Michigan anyway if it didn’t happen tonight. An injury of this significance will always find a way to catch up to you on a deep tournament run Still remains a big “what if” type of situation regardless though because he would’ve made a big difference in this specific type of game tonight. Just another example of a brutal injury to a star player late in the season; there were way too many of those this year
