@Rather focuso@n getting really good at what you do and pick companies where you can actually grow. Met an Uber SSE last week. 6 YoE, no switches. ~1.27 Cr/year. Know a few Atlassian, Amazon, Microsoft SSEs with 7–8 YoE, no switches, around ~1 Cr/year. Good companies pay well. If you stay, your RSUs vest, you get refreshers and if the stock does well, it compounds. Job hopping works, But it’s not the only play.
